Dear Parent/Carer
We have today received a telephone from the School Dental Team who have informed us that due to the Nursing Team having to be re-deployed due to the current pandemic situation, they have unfortunately, had to cancel the proposed Fluoride Varnishing for all Foundation Phase Children (Nursery to Year 2) due to take place next week on the 19th January,
As soon as we receive a new date for this, we will let you know.
Kind regards
Dear Parent/Carer

Thursday 6th January at present there is uncertainty around whether
there will be a whole school return or a keeping of the status quo of Wednesday.
In regards to the latter RCT have a headteacher meeting at 3pm today. The outcomes of this meeting will be shared with yourselves ASAP to give
clarity over school operations for the rest of this week.

IMPORTANT: Proposed changes to Covid Rules as stated by Jeremy Miles Minister for Education
All schools have received a letter today, from the Welsh Government Minister of Education stating that there will now be changes to the new term in January due to the current levels of uncertainty regarding the impact of Omicron.
Schools will now have two planning days at the start of the new Spring Term. This will allow schools to put the necessary measures in place to support the return of learners.
In addition to this, our school will possibly be operating a staggered start and finishing time. We will update you with these procedures and times over Christmas.
Robust plans will be put into place, if there is a need to move to remote learning due to staffing pressures. However, we are hoping this will not be the case.
It is our aim that children will be able to return to school on Thursday 6th January, however this may need to change. We will assess the situation during the preparation and planning days and let you know so please keep a check for school notifications on Dojo, Parent Mail and our Website during the Christmas Holidays.
