Good afternoon
We have now finalised our lists and can confirm that all of the parents that have applied on the RCT website for a key workers childcare place have been sent an e-mail confirming acceptance.
Please remember that you have to reapply for your place every two weeks on the RCT website until the end of this term.
Children with hub childcare places have to be in school by 8.00 a.m. and must be collected by 5.00 p.m. at the latest. Hub children have also been allocated a "catch up " day with their class teacher and details of this will be sent to you separately. Please refer to the two previous letters sent to you by e-mail for the arrangements for pupils returning to school this June.
If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact us at admin.capcochprimary@rctcbc.gov.uk and we will come back to you as soon as we are able to
Kind regards
Dear Parent/Guardian
We have today sent those parents who have registered an e-mail with us a copy of a letter and Question & Answer sheet received from RCT about your child returning to school on the 29th June.
These documents can be accessed by clicking on the "News & Events" tab and then clicking on the "Newsletters" tab.
Please make sure that even if you have informed us recently that you will require a hub childcare place from the 29th June, you will still need to apply for your place on the RCT website.
In addition, as soon as the link closes on Sunday 21st June and RCT send to us our Applications for Hub Childcare list, we will inform those parents whose children are returning to school before September the day and times their children will be attending Capcoch for the next three weeks. Please note that this date and time cannot be changed.
Kind regards
Dear Parent/Guardian
We have today sent an e-mail to all parents who have registered an e-mail address with us confirming the arrangements for those pupils who will be returning to us for school catch up and/or hub children on the 29th June.
This letter also contains the procedures to be followed by pupils and parents alike.
A copy of this letter can be accessed by clicking on the "News & Events" tab and then by further clicking on the "Newsletters" tab.
We will contact parents individually tomorrow (Friday 19th) with times and days which their children will be expected to attend school for their check in session.
Thank you, as always for your patience, your ongoing support
Please continue to keep safe and well
S Gardner (Headteacher)
Dear Parent/Guardian
We have been asked to circulate the following information by RCT
1. Timescales for the next round of applications for emergency childcare:-
Applications for emergency childcare for the three week period Monday 29th June to Friday 17th July will be going live on the Council’s website from 8am on Friday 19th June.
- Parents / carers need to apply asap – applications close at 11:59pm on Sunday 21st June.
- Emergency childcare will be in the child’s usual school setting and places are strictly subject to availability.
- Late applications will not be accepted. Places are strictly subject to availability and parents who miss the deadline of Sunday 21st June need to contact their child’s school directly to establish whether or not their child can be accommodated.
2. People who must apply:-
- Key / essential workers must re-apply as requirements / shift patterns etc. change regularly and we need to establish whether the numbers of applications for each school can be accommodated.
- Parents / carers of vulnerable learners and parents / carers of special school pupils who are already attending an emergency childcare setting do not need to re-apply. Their attendance (subject to availability) will be ongoing, but they must notify their child’s school if they no longer require a place.
- Any parents / carers of vulnerable learners and parents / carers of special school pupils who are not currently attending for emergency childcare must make an initial application for a place.
Emergency childcare places are strictly subject to availability and making an application does not guarantee an emergency childcare place.
Kind regards
Dear Parent/Guardian
As you will be aware, our school will be re-opening on Monday 29th June but class sizes will be limited to a maximum of 8 per class per day. We therefore have to plan class intake and class sizes for the next four weeks so that all children in all years will attend for at least three sessions over the four week period left of term.
In the circumstances, we have today sent a text and an e-mail to all the parents that have registered an e-mail address with us asking you to either click on the link https://forms.gle/zS2u5hDBmeg1UYQ77 contained in the letter posted and e-mailed on Monday evening via a google account or alternatively send us an e-mail at Admin.capcochprimary@rctcbc.gov.uk (if you have not already done so) to inform us as to whether your child will be returning on the 29th June or in September so that we can plan our classes as soon as possible.
Many thanks
