  • School re-opens tomorrow

    it  is with great regret that conditions deteriorated last night. The school grounds have become sheer ice with grit having little effect. Under health and safety the school will now be closed. 
  • School open at 10 am

    Due to risk of ice,the school will open at 10am for pupils tomorrow.There will be no breakfast club or link up. Please take care on approach to the school and ensure pupils wear coats and suitable footwear.If there is significant deterioration overnight, the school will update you.
  • NSPCC Sponsored Walk

    Friday, will be our sponsored NSPCC walk dressed in our World Book Day costumes. All donations will go to this worthwhile cause.

    The school will be open as normal tomorrow Monday 5 th March. We will also be operating a Breakfast Club. 

     

    We we will be having our St David celebrations on Monday afternoon. Pupils have the option of wearing EIsteddfod clothing if they wish to.

    "Based on current Met Office forecasts of severe winter weather, which is expected to have a significant impact from tomorrow, Thursday 1 March and in to the weekend, the local authority has advised us to close the school tomorrow, Thursday 1 March and Friday 2 March. An update will be provided over the weekend in respect of Monday, 5 March."

    The council is closely monitoring the latest weather forecast and, based on the local and national updates, is preparing for a period of significant snowfall.

     

    In order to give parents and carers as much notice as possible of the predicted disruption we would request that schools consider communicating the following to parents and carers via text message this afternoon.
