Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
Hello all
Just a reminder for tomorrow: Pupils can dress ‘glitz and glamour' or in PJ’s , fancy dress /Pudsey. We are asking for a £1.00 donation which will need to be brought into school in an envelope with the child’s name. They will also receive a cake and squash on this day. If they bought a Pudsey or Blush colouring for 50p to decorate, these will be judged tomorrow too.
We do have some merchandise for them to buy and am pleased to say the coloured pencils and the lanyards have arrived.
Pudsey Ears - £2.50
Lanyards - £2.00
Coloured Pencil Pot with coloured pencils - £2.00
Pudsey Wrist Band - £1.00
Pudsey Pin Badge - £1.00
Blush Small Teddy Keyring £2.50
We only have a certain amount of each merchandise and so will be limiting one item per child to begin, and then following this, once everyone has had the opportunity to buy something, we will sell the rest of the merchandise to the children until everything is sold out.
If your child wants an item and it is sold out we will look into ordering more for them.
It will be a day of fun activities and so tomorrow I will be posting some photos from the day 😊😊
Kind regards
Dear Parent/Carer

Dear Parent/Carer
As you will be aware, the school is taking part in Children In Need Day this Friday 19th November 2021.
On Friday pupils can dress in "glitz and glamour" or in PJ's, fancy dress or Pudsey. We are asking for a £1.00 donation which will need to be brought into school in an envelope with the child's name on it. They will also receive a cake and squash on this day. If they bought a Pudsey or Blush colouring for 50p to decorate, these will also be judged on the day too.
We do have some merchandise for them to buy on the day. However, two of the items for sale have yet to arrive namely the lanyards and the coloured pencils. If these arrive after Friday, we can reserve these items for you. You will need to let your child's class teacher know.
Kind regards

RE: DROP OFF AND COLLECTION ARRANGEMENTS
As you will be aware, we are currently operating a one-way system in the school which is likely to remain in place for the foreseeable future whilst we are still under COVID Regulations and as recommended by the Local Authority.
Parents must not arrive at school earlier than 3.10 p.m. to collect their child(ren) as this is causing problems with social distancing and the safety of others. In addition, unless you are exempt, facemasks must be worn whilst on school premises and social distancing must be observed in order to protect school staff, other parents and the wider community.
All parents must also closely supervise their child(ren) and leave the school site as quickly as possible after drop off and collection. Parents should not gather or remain on school premises for longer than is necessary and adhere to the one-way system that is currently in place. Also, whilst waiting for any siblings, children should not be playing on playground equipment.
As you will appreciate, we have listened to parents concerns/opinions and in an effort to ease congestion, reopened our Cromer Street gates. However, if problems continue with social distancing etc. we may have to reconsider closing our Cromer Street gates once again.
Lastly, can we remind you that if arrangements for the collection for your child(ren) change during the day you must inform the school office otherwise we will not be able to release your child(ren) to the person or persons that have called to collect them. If the office is busy on the telephone, please leave a message on the school answerphone and Mrs Kent will return your call as soon as she is able to.
Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
Kind regards,
Ms G Owen

Re: Collection Arrangements for Parents- Cromer Street
As you will be aware following a review of our risk assessment, we have today re-opened both the yard/main gates off Cromer Street in an effort to reduce congestion.
The Cromer Street small gate will be used to enter the school with the larger gate being used for leaving the school. Parents can still use the one-way system, if leaving the school through School Street.
Please could all parents with siblings in the classes of Mrs Ross, Miss Hanson and Ms Owen’s and who wish to use the Cromer Street entrance to leave the school must wait on the yard until the class teachers have dismissed your child(ren) to you to ensure that the current one way system remains effective. Please also keep your social distancing when walking around the school.
We would once again, remind you that all parents need to leave the school as soon as their child/children have been collected and not allow children to play on the climbing equipment on the yard. Timings for all gates to be opened/ closed will remain the same.
We will be reviewing this arrangement at the end of the week and on a regular basis. Providing that the above rules are adhered to the gates will remain open for the foreseeable future. However it should be noted that this arrangement can change at any time as it is dependent upon not only the changing COVID Regulations but also upon parents adhering to these rules.
We know how disruptive the last year has been for everyone. This year we want to keep your child in school as much as possible, but we also want to keep our schools and communities safe from the effects of COVID-19.
Thank you for your co-operation in this matter,
Kind regards
