  • CHILDCARE ARRANGEMENT FOR W.C. 1ST JUNE 2020 - 25.5.2

    Dear Parent/Guardian

     

    We have received an e-mail from RCT Education Department regarding the provision of childcare for essential workers for the week commencing 1st June 2020.  A copy of this e-mail can be accessed by clicking on the "News and Events" tab and then clicking on the tab named "Newsletters".  A copy has also been sent to all parents/guardians who have registered their e-mail address with us.

     

    If you are eligible for this childcare provision, please note that Applications for emergency childcare for the week commencing  1st June 2020 will be live on the Council’s website  until 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday 26th May 2020.

  • ADDITIONAL CHILDCARE PROVISION AFTER MAY BANK HOLIDAY - 20.5.20

    We have received notification from RCT that following the May Bank Holiday there will be additional childcare Hubs available for vunerable children and the children of key workers.

  • SURVEY FROM CHILDRENS COMMISSIONER FOR WALES FOR ALL CHILDREN - 14.5.20

    Dear Parents/Gurdians

     

    We have today received an e-mail via the Local Authority from the Childrens Commissioner for Wales asking if all children in Wales can complete a short survey which will take approximately 15 mins.    There are three options to choose from and the closing date is 27th May 2020. 

     

    After the closing date the results will be collated and will help the Welsh Government and Local Authorities to assess the impact of COVID-19 on childrens mental and physical well-being and hopefully, to be able to provide further help, resources and guidance to Welsh children.

     

    We have posted the contents of the e-mail under the "News and Events Tab" and if you clock on the "Newsletters" tab you will be able to access the document.

  • RCT WELLBEING PACKS 4 & 5 - DIET & EXERCISE AND RELATIONSHIP BASED PLAY - 6.5.20

    Dear Parents/Guardians

     

    Due to the recent climate that everyone finds themselves in due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, RCT have produced two booklets to help you at this time. 

     

    We have posted both of these short booklets under the "News and Events" tab and then under "Newsletters".  The booklets ae entitled "RCT Wellbeing Pack Four - Diet & Exercise" and RCT Wellbeing Pack Five - Relationship Based Play" can are stored under the "Newsletters" tab.  

     

    In addition, we have also sent these booklets by way of e-mail to those parents who have registered an e-mail address with us.

     

    We hope they are of some help to you.

  • APPLLICATION FOR CHILDCARE FOR ESSENTIAL AND KEYWORKERS- WEEK COMMENCING 11/5/20

    Dear Parents/Guardians

     

    Just a reminder that if you require emergency childcare cover for next week as a result of being a essential or keyworker, you must make an application on the Council's website to secure a place for your child(ren).

     

    Any application for emergency childcare must be made before 11.59 p.m. on Tuesday 5th May 2020.

     

    If you are a parent or carer of any child(ren) classed as a vulnerable learner(s) and your child(ren) are already attending the childcare sessions and you no longer require this place, please ensure that you e-mail schoolplanning@rctcbc.gov.uk as soon as possible.
