Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
Dear Parents/Guardians
In the light of the change in advice from Public Health Wales yesterday following the COBRA Meeting and the Prime Minister's address to the Nation, we have this afternoon received revised advice from Rhondda Cynon Taf CBC which they have asked to distribute in the form of a letter to Parents.
We have posted this letter under the "News & Events" Tab and then under the "Newsletters" Section for your information.
We will keep you advised of developments as and when they happen and we are informed.
MR S K GARDNER
Good afternoon
We have received a number of queries today asking whether we intend to close our school as a result of the Coronovirus outbreak which is currently sweeping the UK and countries worldwide.
As you will appreciate, we are waiting for the result of the COBRA meeting which will be relayed to the Welsh Government and in turn, to the various Local Authorities in Wales as to the next steps that are to be taken. As soon as we are informed by Rhondda Cynon Taf CBC as to the next steps that are to be taken, our school will remain open and all children are expected to attend school as normal.
Please be aware that if you intend to self isolate your child's absence will not be authorised unless you are able to produce medical evidence to substantiate this.
As soon as we are advised by Rhondda Cynon Taf CBC as to the next steps to be taken, we will notify you immediately.
Kind regards
MR S K GARDER
Good afternoon
We have today sent home a letter with your child regarding our new telephone system and administration of medication during the day with your child. In addition, we have also placed a copy of this letter on our school website under the "Newsletters" tab in the News and Events Section
Thank you
